-Take assigned folder to your assigned seat.

-Check the board for the day’s assignments.

-At the end of class, you will be released by row.  Please return your folder to the appropriate slot in the cupboard.

-Please do not chew gum in the choir room.  If you choose to have gum in class, you will not be awarded participation points for that day.

-You are required to attend all performances.

-Dress clothes are required for the concerts.  T-shirts with writing is inappropriate attire.  Guys should wear dress pants (such as khaki’s – no jeans!) and dresses or skirts for the girls.

-Your grade for the quarter will be based on:

 Quiz and test scores;

 Written assignments;

 Spot checks (you will be called upon to sing particular passages during class time);

 Voice improvements; and

 Daily class participation (5 points each day).

-You will be assigned a folder with music as your choir textbook.  As in all Canby High School classes, if damage or loss occurs, you will be assessed a fine.
