Each student in our fourth grade class learned to use FrontPage software to design and publish a web page. We designed our own pages using various elements such as tables, graphics, digital pictures, and hyperlinks.  We learned that when creating a Web page for our site, we are creating it for a purpose: to entertain and to inform. We discussed who our audience might be and made our plans accordingly. It was important that we carefully plan our page to create pages people will enjoy reading.

     The assignment each of us had was to include at least five sections: an introduction, a autobiography, a hyperlink to our favorite Web site, a copy of the state PowerPoint presentation we designed, and an example of our best work.
