ANTONYMS
By Mrs. Hoyme’s
Fourth Grade Homeroom students

We find the study of words fascinating. It is fun for us to learn how to use words correctly in our writing. We also enjoy learning the correct terms for the different kinds of words we meet and use.
Antonyms are words that have opposite meanings. As a class, we brainstormed a list of antonyms. Each of us chose a set of antonyms from our brainstormed list and wrote a sentence for each word in the pair. We hope you enjoy our sentences and our drawings.
Some Antonym pairs from our brainstormed list….Can you think of others?
