Chapter 23
When I Went to My Grandma's

    One day when I was visiting my Grandma, I looked out the window and saw a big truck parked by the curb. It said Moving Van on the side of it. I saw a big girl with two pony tails in her hair and freckles on her nose She was wearing blue jeans and a red shirt.
    I walked over to the girl to see what her name was. I was nervous.
    I said, "What is your name?"
    She replied, "Pippi Longstocking."
    "What is your name?" she says.
    I said, "Martin. Want to ride bike?"
    Pippi said, "How do you want to ride bike?"
    So I showed her. Luckily I did not fall over. I would have been very embarrassed.
    "Would you like to come to my grandma's house to watch cartoons with me?"
    She thought that the cartoons were funny and she enjoyed the lunch of pizza, chicken nuggets, and a little popcorn Grandma made for us. While we were at Grandma's house she told us that she was going to be leaving Canby now with Mr. Nilsson and her pet horse. Being they were both animals looking for a Country Home for them. I told her that Ms. Melby would love them to live with her and her husband. And the big bonus, they live on a farm.
