My name is Konnie Anderson. I have been teaching Spanish at CHS for 17 years. I received a B.A. in Spanish education from SDSU in 1992. Eleven years later I completed my Master's degree in Educational Leadership from SMSU. I am married and have three children. My husband, Lance, is the General Merchandise Manager at Hy-Vee in Marshall. Our children, Landon (14), Allison (10), and Kaylin (7) keep us busy. This semester I have one section of 7th grade Spanish and two sections of Spanish 2 and an independent study student.
Spanish is not an easy thing to learn, so I admire those students that put themselves up to the challenge. With a little hard work and studying they will be speaking Spanish before they know it. I hope that being in this class will open their eyes to many wonderful opportunities that come from learning Spanish!
