There will be a volleyball meeting for all players in grades 7-11 right after school today in the Media Center.       

Students and parents are reminded of our obligations due policy which states that all outstanding lunch bills, class fees, etc. must be paid before a student can attend Prom or Commencement.

There will be a quick Student Council meeting on Thursday at 7:45 in room 156.

Sanford will be holding a CNA class starting June 1st.  Registration must be done by May 25th.  See the poster in the counseling office window for more information.

There will be no tutoring today or Friday of this week.

Order forms for Yearbooks are on the counter in the office and in the Media Center.  Cost is $48 through April 28th.  After that it increases to $50.  You can also order on-line at jostensyearbooks.com.

 

On the lunch menu today is Pulled Pork on a Pretzel Bun or Crispy Chicken Salad.

The Awards Program and Senior Art Show will be held today.  Doors open at 5:00 to view the senior posters and art work, and the program will begin at 7:00.

There will be varsity girls’ golf at Ortonville at 10:00 today. The van will leave at 8:00.  CANCELLED

There will be junior high track at Lakeview at 4:00 today.  Students will be dismissed at 2:15 and the bus will leave at 2:30.   CANCELLED

There will be junior high softball versus KMS at Minneota at 5:00 today.  The van will leave at 3:30.  POSTPONED TIL THURSDAY

5th period Study Hall will be in Mr. Dessonville’s room.

Congratulations to Canby High School on another amazing blood mobile. We collected 81 units from 88 willing donors including 17 first time donors. Thank you to everyone who helped us reach our goal!

There will be junior high and JV golf at RTR at 4:30 today.  Students will be dismissed at 2:45 and the bus will leave at 3:00.

There will be softball versus Montevideo in Minneota at 4:30.  Students will be dismissed at 2:30 and the bus will leave at 2:45.

There will be junior high softball versus Montevideo in Ghent at 4:30.  Students will be dismissed at 2:30 and the bus will leave at 2:45.  Game Cancelled and no junior high softball practice.

There will be junior high baseball at Lac Qui Parle Valley at 4:30.  Students will be dismissed at 3:05 and the bus will leave at 3:25.

There will be boys’ varsity golf at Ortonville at 10:00.  The van will leave at 8:00.

8th grade will have PE today.

There will be NOT be junior high baseball versus Clinton here today.

There will be baseball at Clinton at 5:00.  Students will be dismissed at 2:45 and the bus will leave at 3:00.

There will be softball at MACCRAY (Raymond) at 4:30 today.  Students will be dismissed at 1:45 and the bus will leave at 2:00.  There will be no junior high softball practice today.

There will be junior high track at Deuel at 2:00 today.  Students will be dismissed at 12:30 and the bus will leave at 1:00.

The Bloodmobile will be in the old gym today.  Remember to bring a photo ID with you when you go to donate.

Today is the last day to sign up for Prom 2017, “Moonlight in the Mirror”.  Remember that prom is a package deal---it includes the banquet, grand march and the dance.  Any junior or senior bringing a sophomore or out of town guest under the age of 21 must pay $20 at the time of sign-up.   Also remember this is a formal event and no blue jeans or shorts will be allowed! Please see Mrs. Arndt if you have any questions.

Today is recycling day.  Please have your containers outside your door for pick up Period 1.

There will be varsity and JV baseball at YME at 4:30 today.  Students will be dismissed at 2:30 and the bus will leave at 2:45.

There will be varsity golf at TMB at 4:30 today.  Students will be dismissed at 3:00 and the bus will leave at 3:15.

Junior high baseball practice will be at the high school varsity field at 3:30 today. 

Period 3 Study Hall will meet in Mr. Prosch’s room today and tomorrow.

Computer 7 Period 3 should report to Mrs. Kallhoff’s room today.  Bring work with you.

The number one reason that willing donors are unable to donate blood is because of low iron.  Donors are reminded to eat high iron foods with Vitamin C foods for absorption.  Today’s high iron food is tacos.  Remember to bring a photo ID tomorrow when you go to donate as well.

Remember that prom is a package deal---the banquet, grand march and the dance.  Any junior or senior bringing a sophomore or out of town guest under the age of 21 must pay $20 at the time of sign-up.   Also remember this is a formal event and no blue jeans or shorts will be allowed! Please see Mrs. Arndt if you have any questions.
