Congratulations to the Bean Bag Tourney winners:  2nd place went to Becca Kallhoff and Kendra VanDerostyne and 1st place to Justin Merritt and Jamison Hunt!

9th graders will be attending the Career Day at MN West today.  Students will be dismissed at 9:40 and the bus will leave from the cafeteria at 9:45.

Quarter 3 ends today.  Students and parents are reminded of our Obligations Due policy which states that all lunch bills, class fees, etc., must be paid In order for students to receive their report card on the 31st

There will be no school on Monday, due to a staff inservice.

CHS is hosting the SMSU Jazz Ensemble with professional saxophone player, Rob Dixon, on Monday, March 27 at 7:30 in the Old Gym, along with our own Jazz Band.  There is no charge for this event and everyone is welcome!

Jazz band students need to be at the school band room on Monday at 3:15 pm for a jazz clinic session.

Did you know that you could save 3 lives with your donation of blood?  The CHS Blood Drive will be held on April 21st from 8:30 to 1:30.  See Maverick Maynard or Brandon Bursack to sign up to donate.

Junior high golf and baseball practice will start on March 28th.

There will be no tutoring on Friday morning of this week.

Summer Rec and Swimming Pool applications are in the office.  To work at Summer Rec you must be 14 years or older.  For the Swimming Pool you must be 15 years or older.  Applications are due by April 14th.  If you have any questions contact Sara Wollum at sara.wollum@canbylancers.org.

Order forms for Yearbooks are on the counter in the office and in the Media Center.  Cost is $48.  You can also order on-line at jostensyearbooks.com.

 

On the lunch menu today is French Bread Pizza, Toasted Cheese Sandwich & Tomato Soup, or Ham & Cheese Ciabatta.

Today is recycling day. Please have your containers outside your door for pick up Period 1.

All 9th – 12th graders are invited to join in the YAMS Bean Bag tournament today at 6:00 pm in the Old Gym.  Sign up sheets for teams of 2 are on the counseling office door. Prizes will be awarded to the top two teams.

There will be no Student Council meeting this week.

Today is the last day to sign up if you are interested in being a cheerleader for next year.

CHS is hosting the SMSU Jazz Ensemble with special guest Rob Dixon on Monday, March 27 at 7:30, along with our own Jazz Band. 

Junior high golf and baseball practice will start on March 28th.

Congratulations to our bands and choirs who received all Superior ratings at yesterday Large Group Band and Choir contest!

The boys’ basketball Awards Banquet will be held tonight at 7:00 pm in the cafeteria.  All C squad, B squad, and Varsity players and their parents are welcome to attend.

All 10th grade Student Council members are to meet on Wednesday at 7:45 in room 302.   There will be no Student Council meeting this week.

Large Group Band and Choir contest will be held today at Lakeview starting at 4:00.  The buses will leave at 3:45.
