Classroom Expectations
Grading—Grades will be determined from tests, quizzes, notebook, labs, lab tests, and worksheets. You will have at least one major project that will be in a lab report format. All make-up work needs to be handed in 2 days after returning from an absence. Lab work will have to be made up after school or on the student’s own time. All tests, quizzes and write-ups must be made-up no more than 1 week after returning from an absence. Each student is responsible for getting all make-up work completed and handed in. If you do not hand in an assignment you will receive a zero. The grading scale will be as follows:
A 93-100 C 73-76.9
A- 90-92.9 C- 70-72.9
B+ 87-89.9 D+ 67-69.9
B 83-86.9 D 63-66.9
B- 80-82.9 D- 60-62.9
C+ 77-79.9 F Below 60
Class Requirements— For this class, you need to keep an organized notebook and or folder. All notes and assignments should go into this notebook. Your notebook may be graded for points You are required to bring your book, notebook and/or folder along with a writing utensil. You will not be able to go get something if forgotten.
