This schedule is subject to change based on progress.
Test Taking Requirements:
Tests will be taken on the designated test dates. Any exceptions will require a written excuse. You will need the approval from your school counselor or Class Facilitator to make up a test. It is your responsibility to schedule a make-up test. Failure to complete a test will result in a score of zero for that test. Before a student can take the test, they will be required to complete the following items from the Study Guide for each chapter:
Fill-in the Blanks Key Terms
Multiple-Choice Questions / Sample Quiz 2
These exercises in the study guide should be done on separate sheets of paper. Do not write in the study guide.
Point System:
The tests will be approximately 50 questions. You will be given a percent grade on your test. There will be three tests during the semester. Each test will be worth 100 points.
Class participation will be worth 60 points—6 points each week if present and participate.
(See the following pages of the syllabus for a more in-depth presentation of assignment points)
90% and above is a 4.0 / A
80% to 89.9% is a 3.0 / B
70% to 79.9% is a 2.0 / C
60% to 69.9% is a 1.0 / D
59.9% or less is a 0.0 / F
Incompletes will not be given. If a student is unable to meet course requirements, that student is advised to withdraw at the appropriate time; otherwise, a regular letter grade will be assigned at the end of the course.
