L. A. AMUNDSON SCHOLARSHIPS, INC.--FIRST SECURITY BANK, CANBY - Amounts vary -- The L.A. Amundson Scholarships, in conjunction with First Security Bank, Canby, have given out $335,250 in scholarships since 2003. Applicant's parents must maintain their primary banking relationship with them. Over the years the L.A. Amundson has given a total of $6,147,500 in scholarships. SANFORD HEALTH NETWORK HEALTH CAREER SCHOLARSHIP - Scholarships for those planning to pursue a degree in health care. Apply at Sanford.
ERWIN NEUHARTH/MN WEST SCHOLARSHIP - $500 – must attend Minnesota West. Apply at MN West with their other scholarships available after March 1st.
MARBLE LUTHERAN CHURCH/MN WEST – $1000 scholarship awarded to a student attending MN West, Canby who is from the Marble Lutheran Church area.
LINCOLN CO. CORN & SOYBEAN ASSN. SCHOLARSHIP – Awarded to a senior whose family farms in Lincoln County and are involved in the Corn & Soybean Growers Association. Apply with them.
CATHOLIC AID ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP Amount varies - As Minnesota's oldest and largest Catholic fraternal benefit society, we are happy to help young people better themselves with higher education by presenting three $300 scholarships.
SMSU COLLEGE NOW – $1000 to any student that has participated in the College Now program and plans on attending SMSU.
LINCOLN HI (former students) – If you attended Lincoln HI you are eligible for the scholarships listed on their website. Click here for Lincoln HI website and information.
YMC 4-H LEADER’S COUNCIL SCHOLARSHIP – A $500 scholarship will be awarded to senior active in the 4-H Leaders Council.
