NOTE: These scholarships require their each individual application to be filled out. The applications for these scholarships may be accessed on this website at the left. Some maybe also be accessed in the high school counseling office.
ITC TELECOM-DEAN E. ANDERSON SCHOLARSHIP $700 – This scholarship is awarded to high school seniors planning to attend a post-secondary institution located in Minnesota or South Dakota. The recipients must reside within the ITC service area. Applications in the Counseling Office. Return to the High School office.
MIDWEST CATTLEMEN’S ASSOCIATION Two $250 scholarships awarded to seniors entering an agricultural major. Senior families must have a long standing affiliation to the Midwest Cattlemen’s Association.
SENIOR LETTERPERSON CLUB SCHOLARSHIPS Amount and Number Vary. For students that have been actively involved at Canby High School and participating in the Letterpersons club.
PEDEN-COLE GARY AMERICAN LEGION AUXILIARY SCHOLARSHIPA $300 scholarship is awarded to a senior who completes an essay about the American Legion and Auxiliary, and three $100 Thank you scholarships are presented to seniors entering the military.
DAVE HENTGES FAMILY AVIATION SCHOLARSHIP $500 awarded to a graduating senior who has shown an interest in aviation, participates in the community, and will be attending a 2 or 4 year college for a degree in an aviation related field.
CANBY FFA BOOSTER CLUB SCHOLARSHIPS Two scholarships are awarded to seniors who have demonstrated leadership and active participation in FFA. Applications available from the FFA Advisor.
ANDERSON TAX SERVICE SCHOLARSHIP Two $500 dollar scholarships are awarded to seniors who plan to attend a 2 or 4 year college for a degree in either Business or Agriculture.
"TADEN'S PURPOSE" SCHOLARSHIPS A grin. A nod. A tipping of his hat. Asking about your day and wanting to hear the answer. A listening ear. A hug. Are these things of any value? Are they worth anything to you? To certain persons, at certain times in life, they are invaluable. Two $1,000 scholarships are awarded to students that have modeled the values of kindness and respect towards others.
BEN THOVSON MEMORIAL CANBY TRAP TEAM SCHOLARSHIP Scholarships are awarded to senior members of the Canby Trapshooting Team in memory of Ben Thovson.
