A couple of items that are happening at Canby Elementary:
We are having our Halloween parade on Thursday approximately at 1:45. The route for the parade is to start up Pine Street to Third Street and back to the elementary school on Walnut Street. A reminder that costumes should be non-violent.
Also a reminder that there is no school this Friday, November 1st for Teacher In-Service.
Picture retake day is on November 6th. If your student is getting retakes, they need to bring back the first packet.

Congratulations to the girls cross country team . They finished 2nd at the section 3A meet today and qualified for the state meet. Congratulations to Coach Pesek. the Section 3A Cross Country Coach of the year!
Tickets for Saturday's FB game at Minneota will be cash only, at the field.
Season passes will not be allowed at Friday's Section Volleyball game.
Ticket prices are $8 for Adults, $5 for students.
Reminder that we will be having a two hour late start this Wednesday, October 23 at the elementary and high school.

Congratulations to the Canby - Minneota Girl's Cross Country team on winning the 2024 Camden Conference meet!
A reminder that on Monday, October 14th school will be dismissed at 12:45 p.m. at Canby Elementary for Parent/Teacher conferences. Canby High School is dismissed at 1 p.m. Parent/teacher conferences start at 1:30 p.m. Scheduled times were sent home in the Monday folders for the Elementary. A reminder that you can check your student's grades in JMC.
Reminder: Jr. Lancer Cross Country Practices are Tuesday Oct. 8th & Thursday Oct. 10th of this week. Practices are from 3:15pm to 4:00pm behind the Elementary school. Please pick your child up at 4:00 pm .
Tomorrow's JHFB game with LQPV has been moved to Canby.
Lac Qui Parle will be hosting the annual Homecoming Taste of Lac in our Commons tonight from 5-7pm. Different organizations will have food/drink available for purchase. Proceeds go to their student organizations.

Here is a quick reminder that any Little Caesars Fundraiser Order Forms should have been returned to your youngest child's teacher today, Monday, September 23rd. Any paper order forms that were not returned today, will be accepted through the school day tomorrow, Tuesday, September 24th.
Please remind anyone who has yet to order online, to do so by midnight tonight, Monday, September 23rd.

A reminder that there will be a 2 hour late start on Wednesday, September 25th for teacher in-service.
Please join the Lancer Football team break in the new First Security Bank Stadium and Armitage Field on Friday night as they take on the Lakeview Lakers. There will be vendors, live music, a flyover, football game, and fireworks after the game. See the poster for more details.
Cross Country Home Meet Tuesday, September 10th at Canby Golf Club. The Canby Hall of Fame Committee will be serving supper for $8. See ad for more details.
There will be a burger feed Tuesday at the volleyball game 4:30-7pm

Reminder that the Elementary Open House and Burger Feed is on Wednesday, August 28th from 5 to 7 p.m. Come drop off your school supplies and meet your teacher.
