This afternoon Governor Walz announced the State of Minnesota will be extending the school closure and distance learning through the end of the school year. The executive order also states that Friday, May 1 and Monday, May 4 are planning days for teachers. Students will not receive distance-learning instruction on either of these two days. Distance learning will then start again on Tuesday, May 5 and continue distance learning until May 22. The district will be sending home more information about the closure in the next few days. Parents, just a reminder the next distance learning packet pick up/ drop off is next Tuesday, April 14th from 7:30-9:30 am and 11:00-1:30 pm. Drop off packets at door two and pick up at door one. Also, a reminder to those using daycare, there will be NO daycare Friday, April 10th and Monday, April 13th. Thank you so much!!

NHS will be having their Red Cross Blood Mobile this Friday, March 27at the Sanford's Schott's building from 7:30 -12:30pm. Blood donations are considered an Essential Service and the Red Cross of course, follows the strictest safety guidelines. See Below.
Nationwide, blood donations are down, but the need for blood has not decreased causing severe shortages in the system. Following 9-11, over 500,000 Americans donated blood. We need you now as much as we did back then. Please call the high school office to schedule your blood donation. 223-2002
